A propagule is a unit of fungal material capable of initiating colonization under suitable conditions. Depending on the inoculum, infective material can include spores, colonized root fragments and viable hyphae. Propagules and spores are not interchangeable counting terms. A viable propagule must retain the biological capacity to establish.
Keep the context.
Biological compatibility, successful colonisation and a measurable plant response are different questions. The growing conditions matter, and general research is not a promise of a particular result with MegaMyco.
