What is mycelium?

Mycelium is the collective network of fungal hyphae. With arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, some fungal structures are associated with roots and others extend into the surrounding medium. The network develops with the host and local conditions. Visible white growth on potting mix is not enough to identify an arbuscular mycorrhizal network.

Keep the context.

Biological compatibility, successful colonisation and a measurable plant response are different questions. The growing conditions matter, and general research is not a promise of a particular result with MegaMyco.
