How much should I use?

Start with 5 g per plant for a typical transplant. Use 2–5 g for small plants and rooted seedlings, or 5–10 g for larger root balls. These are practical starting amounts for compatible plants, selected by root-ball size. Place the granules at the roots, then water normally. Follow your pack if its directions differ.

2–5 gSmall plants & rooted seedlings

Use the lower end for a small root ball.

5 gA typical transplant

Spread around the bottom and sides of the root ball.

5–10 gLarger root balls

Distribute across a wider root-contact area.

Suggested starting amounts per plant, for compatible species. Choose by root-ball size. Follow your pack if its directions differ. For large trees or commercial planting, ask us for specific guidance.

HOW FAR DOES A PACK GO?

At 5 g per plant:

75 g
15 plants
250 g
50 plants
500 g
100 plants
1 kg
200 plants

Calculated coverage. Smaller doses go further; larger root balls use more.

At the stated concentration of ≥200 viable propagules/g, 2 g supplies at least 400, 5 g at least 1,000, and 10 g at least 2,000 viable propagules. This is a calculation of inoculum quantity, not a guarantee of colonisation or an established optimum for every plant.

Keep the context.

Biological compatibility, successful colonisation and a measurable plant response are different questions. The growing conditions matter, and general research is not a promise of a particular result with MegaMyco.
